My name is Miranda Melcher, and I have the honor to serve as your Secretary-General for YMUN Korea 2015. leo espinoza

director-general, committees

Leo Espinoza is a sophomore in Saybrook College from Topeka, Kansas who will be the Director General of Committees for YMUN Korea 2015. Though heavily involved with Yale’s International Relations Association and its constituent programs, he is also an active member in groups outside of this sphere like Camp Kesem. When not completing YMUN Korea tasks or eating, Leo enjoys taking his Nook out for a walk and reading a good book here and there. He is thrilled to be returning to YMUN Korea 2015 and cannot wait to create an unforgettable experience for this year’s participants. Miranda Melcher is a junior in Branford College at Yale University and is this year’s Secretary General of Yale Model United Nations Korea. Miranda is a political science major, focusing on civil wars in the Middle East and Africa. Miranda grew up as an expat in Beijing, China, where she attended international school and many MUN conferences. Outside of YMUN Korea, Miranda is involved with Jewish life, editing for a multi-language magazine, a member of the Yale Political Union, and is organizing the Specialized committees for YMUN XLI. minsun cha

Minsun Cha is a sophomore in Pierson College, serving as the Director General of Administration. Originally from Seoul, she has spent the majority of her life in Singapore, growing up in an international community that has fostered in her a love for anything remotely related to global affairs from new languages to exotic cuisines. She became involved with various constituent programmes of YIRA upon arriving at Yale as a wide-eyed freshman, and is thrilled to be a part of what will be the most engaging and exciting YMUN Korea conference to date.
