Yale MUN Korea's Approach to Model UN
Yale Model United Nations Korea fundamentally differs from other Model UN conferences in Asia due to its unique approach to facilitating debate and collaboration. We utilize the western Model UN approach, which emphasizes in-committee cooperation and building critical thinking skills under pressure. Furthermore, our smaller committee sizes allow delegates to experience intense cross-cultural exchange and challenges to consensus among parties with vastly differing interests. Delegates will be encouraged to practice personal diplomacy and negotiation skills in the spirit of international cooperation.
